We are a clinical neuroscience research team that studies longitudinal brain-behaviour relationships with a focus on dementia due to neurodegenerative and neurovascular diseases such as stroke & cerebral small vessel disease, mild cognitive impairment & Alzheimer’s disease, and other related dementias.

Research

Through the use of clinical, neuropsychological, neuroimaging, and genetic biomarkers, we hope to improve clinical diagnostic technologies and develop resources that can assist with novel disease modifying therapeutics & clinical interventions.

A large component of our research includes the development and application of neuroimaging pipelines that can be used to acquire a number of imaging-based biomarkers. We have documented them here:

Collaborations

We’re always looking for new opportunities to collaborate with clinical research groups that have similar interests. Our research group currently participates in a number of multi-site, multi-modal neuroimaging consortia and initiatives, focusing on research into neurodegenerative and neurovascular diseases that cause dementia.
