BrainLab is a neuroscience research lab located at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre examining longitudinal brain-behaviour relationships with a focus on Alzheimer's disease, dementia, stroke and cerebrovascular disorders, through the use of clinical, neuropsychological, neuroimaging, and genetic biomarkers.
Image processing at BrainLab is responsible for the development and implementation of tools used to quantify regionalized brain atrophy and various markers of small vessel disease. Click below to learn more about our Semi-Automatic Brain Region Extraction (SABRE) and Lesion Explorer software.
BrainLab is part of the L.C. Campbell Cognitive Neurology Unit at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. BrainLab is also affiliated with the University of Toronto and the Heart & Stroke Foundation Canadian Partnership for Stroke Recovery.
